What Is A Scrum Board?

An Agile Scrum Board contains a list of actionable items, called User Stories. These items can be new features, enhancements, or fixes. They are distributed by the Product Owner to each team member and are ranked in terms of priority, team resources, and company mission. After a team member completes a User Story, the task moves to the Sprint Backlog.

3) The burndown chart – which shows how much time has been spent on each task and how much time is left before they reach their deadline.

The content of your Scrum Board should be determined by what your team needs at any given moment in time. For example, if you have a marketing team, then you would need to include tasks such as social media posts, email campaigns, etc.

If you’re using the Scrum methodology, your team should be composed of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Team Members. These roles do not need to be cross-functional. Scrum boards are divided into columns, which reflect different stages and states of workflow. They also show the maximum number of stories allowed in each column at a time. The Scrum process places an emphasis on schedule and story points, enabling an accurate estimation of work flow and effective management of multiple projects.
